An Old Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. (Acts 20:7)

Some people are so focused on themselves that they couldn't take a sermon that lasts 2 hours, much less until midnight... IMO, it's become the age of narcissists.

Just saying.

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

From the look of your IP address, you're in China, and I'm afraid we've recently had a small flurry of reports from people in the same situation. It looks like the authorities there have decided they don't want to let you listen to Shakespeare (or, more accurately, to files from the Internet Archive, where our downloads come from), and there's not that much we can do about that ... :(

See here http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24788 and here http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24601 , and to repeat the advice given there:
Many of our audiobooks are also available from www.gutenberg.org , and if you cannot access that, others have suggested ftp://opensource.nchc.org.tw/gutenberg/ is worth a try.
Good luck!

Last Tuesday I suddenly had a vision problem, it looked like a large wide left sided pointy bracket shimmering in my eyes. It didn't last very long (I'm not sure how long though but a few minutes not longer than half an hour) It went so I didn't do anything other than check it out on the internet at first. I googled 'shimmery vision' and from what I found it seemed likely to have been a migraine aura.

It was niggling me whether I should consult a doctor (some sites said to) so I thought I'd phone NHS direct to see what they said. And they said yes it was probably exactly that and to see a doc by the end of the week to get it checked out and make sure it's on record. I managed to get an appointment for the next morning.

The doctor said no - because I didn't have a headache afterwards, even though I pointed out to him that there is info on the net that says a headache doesn't always occur. His response - there's a lot of rubbish on the internet. It's impossible to have a migraine aura without a headache occurring. But even the leaflets that our own NHS (that he works for) say it IS possible. And the NHS direct line had said it was likely.

His other objection was that I have never had one before. I said neither has anyone else when it's their first one. He implied that I couldn't start having them at my age (45) The internet info says 90% of people start them under 40 years, so I reckon there's a 10% that start afterwards so it is possible that's what happened to me.

Then yesterday (Friday) I felt really sick and had a bout of the runs. Today I am able to eat and feel ok gutwise although my head is heavy and a bit achy but I wonder if that's from dehydration/caffeine withdrawal. But I also wonder if it was connected to Tuesdays aura.

Any possible enlightenment/advice would be most helpful, thanks

[A TOS 5 violation I just edited]

No fair - a lot of the stuff I have on my clipboard can't be posted due to TOS violations, LOL! Several times I've pasted but not posted.

Bart Stupak folded on HCR for a meaningless Executive Order. Support his opponent for Congress.

Starting in 2013, Americans under 65 won’t be able to deduct medical expenses until they exceed 10 percent of income, up from 7.5 percent now; retirees would keep the lower threshold. The bill in 2011 places new restrictions on what can be purchased using special savings accounts funded with pre-tax dollars including health savings accounts. Improper withdrawals from the accounts also would be hit with a new 20 percent tax.
