I have to say that I made the BEST dinner tonight ... freshly cooked asparagus (with lemon and garlic), then wrapped with sliced ham .... WOW! It was wonderful. I had that with some chicken noodle soup and some healthy cheese toast, and finished things off with a bowl of puffed kamut for dessert. I am definitely doing this again! (happy sigh!)

Delish, Molly.

I was tired from a long day of doing nothing So DH took us out to dinner at Chili's. It was good, and the company was even better

O.o

Now I actually have something to report. I didn't eat out of a can or frozen entree tonight.

I actually went ahead and made the Angolian chili which had chicken and sausage, navy beans, carrots, cabbage, onion, and garlic in it (and I had a ridiculous amount left over). I also had corn-and-rice bread and a fennel salad. Lemonade to wash it down. No dessert - my blood sugar was up on my last checkup.

For lunch I had - well, I didn't have lunch. I had breakfast, though - a couple of pieces of raisin and cinnamon bread toast and a cup of coffee.

I have no earthly idea. DH and I have to travel to Montgomery today so we'll probably eat out somewhere.

I made vegetable beef soup tonight. It was good.

Tomorrow night I'm doing honey ginger pork tenderloin for our Bible study Christmas dinner. We always do our Christmas in January after we've all recovered from the muchness of the holiday season.

Everyone brings something and since it is at our home, we always do the entree. Will be a yummy meal and good fellowship. And after dinner we are showing our slides of our trip to Israel.

Actually, I'm sharing all my recipes. They're in the Stuff Files section of my website and this one, within a week, will be the newest in the International Wok page (under the Stuff Files). I'll let you know when it's up.

(I wish you were local - I'd give you a jar. I had enough left over that I could be eating it for the next two weeks.)

Cool, thank you! I wish I could taste it too!

My guys requested Manwich and fries for tonight. They're "tired of fancy food." LOL!

Cauliflower soup and salad. Kids filled up on the soup, and we saved the salad for tomorrow.

Woof! I'm about to pop. I opened a can of Campbell's Chunky Sirloin Burger soup, heated it, and ladled it over a big slab of the corn and rice bread I baked the other night.

I've got the Angolan meal up on the International Wok page now.

I am going to use some left-over pork roast with Udon noodles, broccoli, cabbage and teriyaki sauce.

Tonight after launching a glass of red wine all over my family room. . . on the wool rugs, a chair, my sweater, etc. I clogged my drain with fennel so my husband had to take the drain apart.

Following that we sat down and ate the cauliflower fennel soup I had made. It is/was quite delicious.

I had more red wine. Imagine that.
