I get coarsely ground peppercorns from the store (Bulk Barn here in Canada). Make my burger patties, sprinkle some peppercorns on a plate, and press the patties in the peppercorns. I cook them as usual on the George Foreman. I use, oh, maybe 1 tsp of peppercorns per patty, more or less.

AMEN Gerald, Wow. my wife and I moved in July from Albuquerque; we lived on the SW Mesa. I'm in green chile withdrawl. Perhaps we'll have to pack up the RV and make a week of it to overload. CCPizza makes a mean alfredo spinach green chile chicken pizza, for a buffet. If there are any CC's left that is. We are having burgers from Biff Buzby Burgers off of Toepperwein in San Antonio, 1/4 lbs not the 3lbs red baron. Whew. Served with Mexican style beans.
