I read all 12 of the original series as well as a couple of the second series. I loved the concept, and overall the writing was superb, but be forewarned, some of the stories are borderline pornographic, especially those involving the character named Fortunato.

Thanks for the warning. About 7 hours late though.

Just grabbed Crazy Love by Francis Chan today. I believe it's number one on the christian best sellers right now.

Back round
To give a little from the back cover.

"Have you ever wondered if we're missing it?
It's crazy, if you think about it. The God of the universe- the Creator of nitrogen and pine needles, galaxies and E-Minor- loves us with a radical, unconditional, self-sacrificing love. And what is our typical response? We go to church, sing songs, and try not to cuss.

Wheater you've verbalized it or not..we all know something's worng."

I'll let you guys know how this goes

I am reading I've Still Got It, I Just Can't Remember Where I Put It by Rita Rudner. I got this for Christmas. I expected it to be a quick, fluffy read, but it has more substance than I thought. I mean it's not deep and heavy, but there is a lot of truth to it. It's about life in your 50s, but with a twist since she and her husband adopted a baby in their late forties. I'm liking this enough that I put another of her books on hold at the library.

Did I mention how great this book is? Any young man looking to become a minister of the Lord or feel he has a calling on his life should read this wonderful book. This man has fast become one of my favorite authors.
