Father,
I pray again today for the church where you have placed me. You alone know the deep workings of the hearts of people and things that are confusing to me Lord I know are not of you. They are of Satan, and I pray he would be bound in our congregation. I pray that you would cast him out and restore us to what we ought to be. In the name of Jesus, I pray, amen.

Father God,
I pray that the God fearing churches that seek to please You above man would be like a shining beacon in a sea of darkness. Help the leadership of those churches to continue to honor and glorify You and lead their congregations down the right, narrow path. For the churches that teach other gospels, I pray that Your sheep will steer clear of them and the members of their congregations that are not truly saved will repent of their sins and surrender their lives to You Jesus. I pray that Your sheep would have discernment about which churches are pleasing in Your sight and which ones are not. For the pastors, elders and deacons who are placing you above all else, I pray that they will be honored. I pray that You would guide the church leaderships on how to best lead and be pleasing to You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord,
I know you love the church and died for it. I know that you love the church where I am now. I wasn't there when people were hungry to hear what was said and they had to bring in chairs to make room for them, I only heard about it, but I did come into a church that was alive and thriving. Lord, help us to stop declining and return to the glorious church we were meant to be. Wherever Satan has a stronghold within our body of believers, I pray you would remove him. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

All knowing Father,
We realize that you know all about the efforts of anti-God people to suppress Christianity. We ask that you instill energy and life into your church so that the members will go forward with loving boldness promoting worship of you.
Please use us as instruments in your hands to demonstrate by our lives the fact that you are better than so many people think you are. We pray that the time will be soon when the name, “Christian”, will put good, worshipful, positive thoughts in the minds of those who hear it. We praise you and ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Our Father,
Thank You for those members of the body of Christ who reach out to others during the weekly gatherings.
I see how my own dh who is so new in the body of Christ still clings to a distrust of the Church. I imagine there are more people like that and who would benefit from the ministrations of their brothers and sisters who are led by the Holy Spirit. I am so touched by these who live by the love of Jesus and genuinely want to share this love and edify and encourage those in the body. Please prepare the resistant hearts and bless the efforts of those who care.

Father,
Revive churches that have turned away from preaching and teaching Your complete and true Word.
Bring repentance and a renewed desire to be faithful to their calling. Help all of those who sit in
pews on Sunday to pray faithfully for their churches, that they will be what You intended Your New
Testament churches to be. Protect the church from the evil one.

Lord,
As I visit around various churches, I don't understand what has happened to our churches. I see seminars and programs, times that have been changed I can only guess so that people can go home early, outreach to other countries, yet no outreach in their own neighborhood, no welcoming for visitors. Lord, please help your churches to get back to the basic way you meant them to be. Help my daughter and I to find a church, we are so discouraged by what we are seeing and realize it's not so different than where we came from, we just didn't see the gradual leaning. Help us please Lord. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.
