Jesus,
as Sunday nears I ask that You will prepare our hearts and minds for worship and a further understanding of You. I pray that we will receive Your truths and put them into practice throughout the week.
Please make the churches we attend bring glory to You and only You in all of their functions. May we not seek personal gain as Your body, but strive to learn more of You.
Amen

Yes, Father please.

Loving Father,
Thank you for being love. We ask that you help us to think in terms of serving the church instead of thinking in terms of being served by the church. Help us to have the mind of Jesus Christ. Help us to become love as you are love. We praise you and ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father,

I pray that Your churches will strive to be all they should be according to Your will. Help the leadership
and congregations stay faithful to Your Word. Make it so they seek and do Your will above all other
things. Help each church reach out to the lost and keep them faithful in telling about Jesus and His
message of salvation. Protect Your churches from the evil one who seeks to destroy the witness of
each Christian and who desires to minimize the work of the church. Help churches stand as beacons
of light against the darkness in their communities.

In Jesus' name,
Amen.

Father,
Help our churches to be a refreshing oasis from the world this weekend, a greenhouse for christians to grow in. I pray that souls and lives would be touched there like never before. I pray that the enemy would be bound away so that your work can go on. Lord, I pray most of all that you would come and meet with us like you did in days of old. I thank you for the church, though she is battle torn at times, I thank you that you have promised she will prevail. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

Father,
Thank you for building your Church. We ask that each congregation focus on you instead of focusing on problems. We ask that each member of each congregation walk with you. We praise you and ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father,
Thank you for using congregations to be supportive of members of the body of Christ. Please work in the minds of people who have a repulsion of being a member of one of your congregations. Draw them to you and give them the desire to serve in the church. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father,

I am praying that regular church members will welcome people regardless of the way they look, where they live, what their background is, or why they have not been in church for a long time, if that is the case. When people have been out of church for many years, it is so very difficult to go back and begin again. It is easier to ask You for forgiveness and start anew than it is sometimes to submit to the "judgment" of those who sit in church pews regularly. Let those members express Your words on the return of those who perhaps have been hurt in the past by individuals in church. Help church members love with Your Heart, and let them celebrate with gladness the presence of each new one who comes or each old member who is coming back.

I ask in Jesus' Holy and Precious name,
Amen.

Yes Father, how important this is. We may be: "Do not forget or neglect or refuse to extend hospitality to strangers (in the brotherhood), being friendly, cordial and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously- for through it some have entertained angels without knowing it."

Lord,
I pray for the church where you have placed me, there has been so much that has happened since our senior pastor left and so many people have gone, but not as many have come in to fill their spot as once did. Lord, I don't know if you are purging the church and you want to begin again with a new pastor and a certain part of the congregation and this is why we haven't found a new pastor yet. But if I am one that you are trying to move somewhere else, and I am delaying your answer, please help me to know that and have the courage to go. Bless your church Lord, help her to grow stronger and be what she ought to be. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

Father I pray that the church Cindy attends will once again be the kind of church that God would have it be. Father I know how awful it is for a church without a shepherd and pray that you send just the right man to this church. I pray you make your will clear to Cindy about whether she should stay or go. It is such a heart wrenching decision to make. Please guide her Lord.

Father,
Please bless this congregation according to what you see is best. I ask that you help those who wonder what they should do and give them a stable church home...perhaps this same church. I pray that you provide what you see is needed for this church. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
