Actor Dan Resin died on July 30 of complications from Parkinson's disease. Resin, 79, was known for his portrayal of the well-dressed Tidy Bowl man in commercials for Ty-D-Bol toilet bowl cleaner. He is honored every football game of the University of Alabama when fans yell, "ROLL TIDE!"

My home sounds like Eutychus' battle ground right now. My husband left the radio on (Travis Tritt) and is laying on the livingroom floor in his houserobe while snoring up a storm. Our dog, a Boxer, is laying next to him on her back and is also snoring. Tritt, dog snores, husband snores. . .quite an orchestra.

So the lady in line ahead of me at the bank had to make a call on her cell phone, asking the landlord if she could wait until tomorrow to accept the rent. Meanwhile, the line was getting longer and longer behind me, and there was one teller...
