But if I were you, and you were off getting down time, who would be me? Would someone please volunteer to warm up my lunch in the microwave for me? I'm kind of hungry.

I would, but we're having a kind of busy night at work tonight. Snow falls so silently, but it sure can make alarms go off! Please fix everyone's electricity so we can stop having to call them in the middle of the night to tell them that their electricity is out. Or else convince the higher ups in my company that it's okay not to call people when their power goes out in the middle of the night.

I can't because I'm not an electrician. I'd probably just make things worse. Will someone please do my housecleaning for me?

Sure, if you'll pay for them and then give them to me. I'd like some new sweaters. Come watch Driving Miss Daisy with me. My dh got it for me for Valentines and I brought it to work to watch between alarms.

You've heard of the blind leading the blind? Well, if I were to try to keep you awake, it would be a case of the sleepy waking up the sleepy. I've been struggling to keep my eyes open, too! Come to my work and play some good Contemporary Christian Music to keep me awake.

Sure, right after I prioritize my own to do list and then do everything on it, which I'll do after relaxing a while longer. Maybe. Somebody give my new co-worker some extra tutoring so they don't fire her for not learning quickly enough, like they did the last one.

I would, but I have a feeling I probably know next to nothing about your profession, so I think it would be a waste of time. Somebody come clean my apartment for me, please.
