Father, please make it so the space heater arrives quickly so that Cindy's mom will have heat. For those elderly who cannot afford enough heat to stay warm, I ask that You help them find assistance for this need. Most elderly people are cold most of the time because of medication that thins the blood so I know they are particularly miserable in weather where it's freezing outside and feels like a refrigerator inside. I think of my mom who was cold in 72 degree temperatures. Lord, please help in the way You think is best. Thank You for hearing and answering our prayers.

PRAYING PRAYING PRAYING The old NEED financial help people need to get this in to there heads, the governmant needs to provide for resources for the elderly and valnerable it gets me soooo mad.

May all the dear elderly have family with them at the end, a pastor, a wonderful Hospice nurse if necessary.

Draw their spirits close to Your Heart, and if anyone is not saved, please bring them to salvation through Jesus My Lord and Your Son. Help them experience Your Peace which is beyond our understanding. Let them know You love them, and send compassionate caregivers, helpers, family, and friends to them so that their physical needs will be met and their emotional need for companionship can be fulfilled. Lord, speak to their spirits and help them resolve any old issues they might be dealing with, especially if those issues stand between them and You. Only You know for sure what is needed, and I ask You to provide according to Your Perfect Will. Protect them and keep them in Your Loving Care.

Give people the desire to visit and check in on them from time to time to see if they can be of any assistance to them in any way, I pray. Lord, please help them to be able to deal with all the anxiety they live with that comes on with aging. Comfort them when they are lonely and heal their hurts and pain. Help us all to remember that sometimes all they want is for someone to listen and try to understand their situation. May we remember to treat them as we will want to be treated in a few years (with Your blessing). I ask it all in the name above every name, the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; the Son of the true and the living God! Amen.
