I'm so thankful for God's protection. Yesterday the wind had blown things all around in my yard and as I was picking them up one of those plants with the sharp edges poked me right in the eye. I felt it before I saw it. I figured when I went in to look at it, that I would be horrified by what I saw, but there was not a scratch, not a red spot, nothing, isn't God good?

Thankful to God that Cindy is OK. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

for getting to play the harp this morning. for a good night's sleep. mom loves me and helps me even though she gets on my nerves. for my health. for the difficult people in my life who teach how not to be. that I have hope, which is something I didn't have in the past and I am in a much better place now and can help others instead of worrying about myself all the time. oh and that I got a unemployment check and can pay my bills and have enough money to go to a conference in July.

I am thankful that Jesus died for all my sins, the sins of my family, and the sins of the world.

No words can express my worship and gratefulness toward Jesus.

I am thankful today for the commissioning service at church today being held for my cousin who is being sent into West Africa to bring the salvation message to so many who are lost. I praise You, Lord, and thank You for all that You have done in her life.

Yes, Lord. And I am thankful for people like marstacy's cousin who have a zeal and willingness to travel and spread the good news. Please protect this one and bless those who hear Your message of salvation.

Also, I am thankful for this morning's worship and fellowship.

I am thankful for the beautiful touching message I heard yesterday at a church I visited. The picture the pastor painted in words of Jesus love for his mother when he saw her standing there at the foot of the cross. He put us in Mary's place first and talked about how she saw her son wounded but she couldn't do anything to bind his wounds, thirsty but she couldn't give him anything to drink, suspended there on the cross, but she could do nothing to set him free. As a mother myself, when I really pictured how she must have felt that day, my heart just broke for her. Then he described Jesus and how he looked through all the people there that day and the set of eyes he saw were hers, the first set of human eyes he ever saw when he came to the earth, he knew she was suffering and his words from the cross showed how he loved her and wanted her to be taken care of even in the midst of his own suffering. I'm just so thankful today that God loves us the way he does, so thankful for Jesus who sees our heartache and pain and cares so deeply for us. We have much to be thankful for.
