Tonight the phone rings and I answer it... it's my hubby!
He just wanted to say he loves me and that he's glad I'm his wife...
it was so sweet to hear those words!
Even sweeter since he was downstairs with his new cell phone lol!

We were at a little coffee shop with a wifi that was not working as intended. There was a way to connect but it took a few more steps than usual. When we had finished our drinks and surfing, he stopped by a young couple who had trouble getting hooked up to the wifi.
Not only did he get the young man hooked up but after some chit chatting we got to see photos of they couples recent trip to the Amazon River. It was delightful.

My husband told me last night over the phone that he missed me (we hadn't seen each other since 5.30am in the morning when he got up for work) and he couldn't wait to see me.

A couple months ago after much discussion my husband and I agreed to make some changes to improve our financial situation. This has meant some VERY long working days for me and adjusting to a new job which has been stressful to say the least. The other day as we were in the car together he looked at me and said "You are awesome!" He went on to say that he feels like we are really working together as a team to improve our life. Very nice words to this tired old lady!

He listened even he may not have wanted to..
And shared 2 cookies with me out of 6
He came up with money for daughter's Dorm
He went to church with me
He ask me why I slept on the floor and not by him
He ask me if he should make some breakfast for me too
As he cooked this mornting he listen to me read something I was learning
He hugged me/ and kissed me like..he actually liked me....with a smile

We are doing the LDR thing, sigh, but he we have fun online. We tried something new in the game we've been playing, and it was a challenge and m'love was very encouraging. It's not a life or death situation or anything but I still wanted to get it right since it involved playing with other people we didn't know.

Last night although I was off work my hubby came home after work and when I told him I was freezing he ran me a bath, lit candles, made me a mug of tea and told me how proud he was of me. Plus he watched a soppy film with me without one bit of complaining. I feel very prevlidged to have someone in my life as fantastic as my husband
The big thing for me today was going back to work and handing in my notice but Mark has been so supportive about it all, knowing I have him at my side through the bad and good times is a real blessing to me.

My new husband has wowed me in conversation last night on the way home from a friends house. He moved in with me once we were married and now has no job. He moved from a different city. He doesn't have a job any longer because of the move. He has been searching for a job like no one's buisness for the last 3 days. I just got severed from my job and my last day is next week. On the way home last night he used scripture/ God's word to encourage me and let me know that he knows things will be find. That God know's what he is doing and will take care of us both. I know all these things but to hear them come from him.....well it melted me to my soul!! I am blessed and amazed by him often!

No hiding this thread from lack of use.
When m'love travels for work we have our phone keep track of our locations. That way if we get online and one of us is not home, it is easy to see where they are and not worry. My mom and I went out to lunch after church. My phone chirped to announce that m'love had sent me a yahoo message, teasingly asking "woman, where are you?". Then he fessed up and admitted that he could see where we were and knew we had stopped at a favorite restaurant. We then had a fun little flirty conversation private in public, KWIM.

We just got home from a glorious 10 day vacation in Mexico. I cannot say enough about how wonderful DH was on this trip. VERY ROMANTIC!!!

My DH who is not a big gift giver bought me earrings for our anniversary. They match the necklace that the bought three years ago for our 15th anniversary which is very nice that he thought to do that.

I haven't been by this thread for a while, so this dates from a while back.
When I went into labour in April, DH had just been to the walk-in clinic that day with a flu that wouldn't go away. He'd been battling cold after cold after an infection, surgery, and rounds of antibiotics left his immunity non-existent, and every cold he caught made him wonder if it was ever going to end. Anyhow, he'd been sent home from the doctor with a note to stay home for 2-3 days and rest up before the baby came. I went into labour that evening and had to wake him up at 3 am to let him know we were in business. When I woke him up and told him I was in labour, his first words were "OK. What do I need to do?"
He told me later that what he had really wanted to say was "Good grief, woman! Can't you make them stop for a few hours and let me sleep?" That was the response I was expecting, actually.
Now that's love.

have our husbands done anything special for the holidays? M'love and I didn't buy each other presents but we do have an extra special romantic get-away planned for later in 2011 and we are having fun looking and day dreaming about buying some property for when we retire. It's so nice making plans and simply daydreaming with m'love.

I always tell my husband that I think I fell in love with him the first time he held my hand. I must say that 27 years later my heart still flutters when he takes my hand in his whether we are in bed, in the mall, on the couch or in the car. I feel very fortunate to have a husband who still excites me in such a simple way!

I got some gastro-intestinal blight and DH found a recipe for a "tummy tea" and got all the stuff for it, including a fresh slice of ginger, and made it for me. And washed all the dishes.

He took down the Christmas tree! Things have been really hectic at our house lately & I hadn't gotten around to putting all the Christmas stuff up, so instead of watching a game that was on, he took down the tree & put all the ornaments away!

I forgot about this thread!
I am so blessed to have my DH. He made pancakes yesterday so that I could sleep in even though he works and I don't. I haven't been sleeping much lately and he has the heating pad turned when come to bed because he knows I can't sleep with cold feet. He is always doing things like that even though I'm not the best wife. He never complains either even when I have the lamp on half the night when I can't sleep.
