On this day in 1912, The Girl Guides, which later became the Girl Scouts of America, was founded.

This is what I found:

Little acorn to A-Mighty-Oak over. Do you copy? Am I clear on the mike?
hahaah

Howdy!
I'm so sorry for your pain. Have you tried the capsican patches such as Solon Pas Patch (I think that's how they spell it.)
I was being trained as an instructor for Safe Crisis Management when I worked for the Department of Health in a treatment center for violent teenage felon males with neuro-phsychological damage. About 3/4 of each day for a week was devoted to physically managing another adult up and down onto and off the floor.
By Friday, I had to score 98% on the test to pass. I couldn't even walk without help; climbing stairs was impossible without leaning on the railing.
I bought a patch, cut it in half (one for each thigh) on Friday morning. 30 minutes later I was walking into the 2nd floor class room without a problem and passed the test without a hitch.
Of course, getting them off of my once-hairy legs was a different experience. My wife forgot to warn me to "soak" them off in a tub.

I did vow for better and worse.

I'm delighted that she loves me.

I'm glad you seem to be doing okay for the moment.

Don't forget, rich dark chocolate is very healthy for us; so have a couple Dilettante's chocolates and a cup of hot chocolate, earl grey or coffee and relax.

I used to hit my chocolate fix in their little shop on the cobblestone off of the Pike Street Market. It melted my blues away. Once a month, that's all we ask... haha

I will pray for you and about your job. Remember God smiles when He sees you in your love for Him and others.

Baaa, sure ya betcha!
.......................................

was that what I was supposed to do? Hit the paste and post?

Hello again, lets see whats on today?
.......................................................

hi Pat, i too have prayed despratly for delieverance and my answer has been either no or not yet. does your church have an " old fasioned" service where they only do piano or organ music? i have a hard time attending church also, though my reasons from differ yours. 1st i am allergic to fragrance, and you know how people just love to slather it on for church, and 2nd is that my pain levels can get so bad that i just want to stay home. yes i do need prayer, doesn't everyone? i would appreciate your continued prayers for Greg's health and i need prayers about my worseing allergies. yours in Christ Jesus: C

.........................................................................
Aha! my wife has been writing letters. hooo hooo

Go talk to your pastor about what he thinks would be good for you to work on in your life to prepare you to be an even more terrific husband. You'll be able to tell your wife some day that you loved her before you ever met her. Now that's romantic! God bless you, Brother.

History - Military, Pirates (or "Sea"), North America, Central/South America (or just Americas encompassing both?), Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia...

Religion - Buddhism, Christianity, semi-Christian (which would include Mormon, Jehovah's Witness, etc. - or is that getting too picky?) Hinduism, Judaism, Islam, Pagan, Witchcraft, Other (?)

Science - needs to have Biology (where would Anatomy fit?)

What is "true crime"?

Dramatic Works - One Act Plays, Musicals, Comedies, Tragedies, Historical (?)

What's Gothic Fiction?

Would we want Poetry - Short or Epic (?)

For books by date of pub - what's the difference between Early English and Ancient Texts? Wouldn't they be the same (i.e. pre-16th C)?

That's why I cling to the understanding of an essential orthodox Christianity that is found in any grouping of real disciples. Because we real disciples differ in practical local and regional church government, worship styles, languages, cultural influences, spiritual giftedness, mission from the Head for specific activity, etc., that we need to give each other room to be accountable to Jesus only on many matters.

But to belittle earnest viewpoints that are taking Scripture as believed to be the true Word of God just because we've never heard of it before, or because that isn't how we learned it, or those are not the words we use, is a sad thing.
