She has diabetes and has chronic bladder trouble resulting from surgery a few years ago.
Starting this past weekend, she has not felt like eating at all…just wants to sleep. I have had to wake her up and coax her to take a few bites of food to bring up her blood sugar. Also, when she urinates, she has pain that lingers. She said it’s even hard for her to sit. This morning, she told me that she couldn’t go on like this. She said something has to be done.
Therefore, I called her doctor’s office. The nurse asked me to bring her in at noon. So far, she’s refusing to go—says she cannot go. I suggested she lie down and rest for one hour then can get dressed if she feels better, then we can go.

Our Heavenly Father, I lift up our brother in Christ-peaceofGod and his mother to You in prayer. Ease her pain and difficulties, Lord, and I am asking if You are willing, please heal her completely. Comfort peaceofGod, his mother. Grant wisdom to them both and the medical personnel directing their steps for getting her the best care she needs at this time. Give them peace and blessings. In the name of our Lord Jesus the Messiah I pray. Amen.

Father, I join my sister, prayn4u, in this prayer for peaceofGod and his mother. Lord, make the way easy for them. Remove his mother's pain and and help the doctor find a way to treat her. Sometimes it is so hard for us to know how to help our elderly ones, but I know YOU know everything that is needed. I trust You, Father, to make provision for all of her needs, and please give peaceofGod strength and wisdom to know how best to help his mother. Protect them and keep them in Your most tender and loving care.

Father, please let peaceofGod's mother realize that she needs to see a doctor. Do not let her give up. Restore her strength so she will feel more like going. Take away her pain. Comfort this loving son. Give him peace about his mother's decisions.

Dear God, I pray that this mother was able to go to the doctor today. I pray that she is resting back at home comfortably with her son now. Please continue to hold them both close tonight. In Jesus' name, I ask these things. Amen

She did let me take her to the doctor. The doctor put her on an additional blood sugar medicine plus an antibiotic. He said that she has an infection and that her blood sugar is extra high. He also arranged for a home healthcare nurse to see mother at her home. A nurse is coming to her home today.
Gotta run…she needs my help.

I'm back...took my laptop to her apartment where I probably will be much of today.
Father,
Thank you for these faithful Prayer Warriors, for those who have posted and for those who prayed without posting.
Thank you for all that you have done for mother—especially during the past few years. Thank you for her doctor and for the healthcare nurse that will check on her. Please heal my mother of her blood sugar problem and of this infection according to what will glorify you the most. Thank you for being our healer. I praise you and ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Our Father, we are grateful peaceofGod's mother has been to the doctor and has received this medicine and for the home health nurse who will be visiting. I agree in prayer with peaceofGod asking for healing for her from this blood sugar problem and infection. Please fill them with peace and help them to rest and be strengthened in You. Praying for Peace of God that he would have supernatural strength at this time to help his mom and still be able to care for himself. I ask that his wife would have a listening heart, and help him to know he can only do so much. Help them both as caretakers...to take down time for themselves. I ask for a good nights sleep, nourishing food, and loving arms around each other. Also, good fresh air and a brisk walk... in the next week.
It is crucial they do this for the long haul.
I ask this in Jesus Name, amen.

Thank you very much, very timely. The stress of it all has been building this afternoon, then came numerous demands of my attention from several phone calls...one right after the other and different people competing for my attention at the same time...arrangements for my absence at church...plans for next week...and I forgot what else. In addition, I had to change plans for mother's evening meal. She tasted what had been prepared and said it made her stomach hurt. Therefore, Wilma cooked some green beans in our apartment while I scrounged around in mother's refrigerator and put together a few things…turned out fine. We made a dish for her that was more than she could eat.
All of the prayers have been helpful. God is working out one thing after another.

Father, thank You that You are so good. We ask for healing for peaceofGod's mom, both with the infection and with control of her blood suger and in every other way that You know is needed. Strengther her Lord and help her to be at peace, resting in You. Help peacepfGod and his wife also with peace of mind, and with being able to get some rest. Thank You Lord for all that You will do in this. In Jesus name we ask for Your will. Amen

Dear Lord,
Please bless Jim's mom abundantly, as You already are with Jim as her son.
Father, please put your protective and healing hands on Jim's mom. Whisper healing and health to the cells in her body. Let this bladder infection be stopped completely and then her blood sugar, which often raises during an infection, be brought back to a normal level. Give her a good appetite, and help her to eat nutritiously.
Lord, she has one of the greatest gifts in life....a caring son and daughter in law! Hallaleuiah! And of course you Lord.
Please let her be perky and bright today, and feeling much better.

Father,
Thank You for peaceofGod's faithfulness to his mother's care. I pray that You will lift him up, give him supernatural energy with enough vigor to do what is in front of him for as long as it takes. Bless him abundantly and let him feel Your close presence and love. I ask that you continue to heal the infection and blood sugar problem and help her have more energy and better appetite. Bless the nurse who will be caring for her, and even if she is only there for a short while, let a sweet and loving relationship develop between them. I praise You for loving us and taking care of us even when we do not know what to ask for. May Your divine will be done in their lives now and always.

I'm agreeing, Lord Jesus, with the prayers for complete physical healing for Jim's mother. I also ask You to fill her with peace, Lord Jesus.
